I have a question. How much time should we spend on learning english by day in order
to not strain our brain?

Depends on your motivation. In high school, I'd often spend 2-3 hours adding stuff
to my SuperMemo collection. Then I might read a book for an hour, and then perhaps
watch CNN for 30 minutes.
Also, it was rather common for me to spend an entire day talking in English, reading
a book in English, or playing an adventure game. But does that count as "learning
English"?
