Hello,
I was wondering if you could help me understand the lyrics in this song clip:
http://www.antimoon.com/temp/song_griffith_park.mp3
This is a song I heard some guys play on their car stereo in LA. It sounded really
good and I even asked these guys what song that was, but they said it was on some
sort of compilation album and they didn't have the track listing. So I just managed
to record a bit (toward the end of the song) on my video camera.
Since I can't identify the artist, my only option is to Google the lyrics, but the
problem is, I can't understand the words too well.
I wonder if a native speaker can help me decipher the words.

I can't hear the lyrics well, sorry. I'm pretty sure the artist is Aaron Neville,
though.
|
|
Yep Aaron Neville ... and that'd be Kenny G on the sax.
|
Thanks a lot.
Any idea how I can identify the album or song title? Aaron Neville has recorded dozens
of albums.
Thanks.

I couldn't make out the lyrics at all.
|
|
I couldn't make out the lyrics either, but the only Aaron Neville/Kenny G collaboration
that I'm aware of is "Even If My Heart Would Break" from "The Bodyguard" soundtrack
and Kenny G's "Breathless". Hope that helps.

Well, all I could hear is the first part of the lyrics and it goes "All the words
I thought I'd say..." and then i don't understand the rest
|
|
"all the words ah... what i'm saying... were bought by love" (?)
|
|
Mi5 Mick, your version makes no sense lol
|
|
I'm just throwing in all the words I hear, whether they make sense or not. I figure
you or someone will come along and piece them together.

|
"tell no one... what I've seen [what I see?].... something something..." saxophone
riff
