Do Americans pronounce ''owl'' as a two syllable word, ''ow-ul''?

I don't. Just one syllable. Miami, Florida, USA.

I pronounce it as [aUl]...however, the [l] is a vocalic [l], as in the word "able", so it effectively is a two-syllable word for me. But just barely...it's definitely not [aUw..l].

I pronounce ''owl'' as a two syllable word. It's short but still two syllables, so someone could think I wassaying it as a one syllable word even though I say it as two syllables [au-..l].

Same here. It's a short two-syllable word.
