What happened to them? greg Sunday, June 12, 2005, 16:46 GMT Spammer attack. * Sunday, June 12, 2005, 17:31 GMT Shouldn't there be a facility on here for the moderator to revive threads which have archived by the spammers ? - the forum would work fine if this could happen and the spammers would be wasting their time - this forum is probably so popular because you don't have to logon like most other forums ! * I see the children are at play again... |

| Its more or less my fault... |
| Unfortunately, a certain someone has not implemented yet that which is necessary to put an end to all of this once and for all, even though it had been said quite a while ago already that "they were already working on it"... |
| It wasn't your fault, Sander. And I agree with Travis... something really should be done now... |
| Yeah,Id be perfectly happy if the topics could be revived.like they were when they got bumped off.. |

And I agree with Travis... something really should be done now... >> I agree it's strange that with forum technology that's been around for awhile that this forum still doesn't have basic safeguards. I'm a member at unilang.org's forums if anyone's interested in checking it out--it's not always as active as antimoon but they have a wider range of topics, unicode is supported, and it's better protected--there are usually plenty of interesting discussions going on. --Here's their forum index: http://home.unilang.org/main/forum/index.php?vsl=0 --Here's the English forum: http://home.unilang.org/main/forum/viewforum.php?f=21 --my username is svenska84 there if you come across any of my posts--if you do end up going there and checking it out leave me a message or two :) And, all this is not to undermine antimoon but t least this can maybe tide you over till antimoon gets better. |

| Most definitely - the most easily could change the software for this place (how many different pieces of nicer forum software written in PHP or like are already out there - heh), but whenever such is brought up, you know who says that he's just the moderator that he can't do any of that, and that has to be done by a certain other person that I've never seen on here whatsoever in the first place. Can we say trying to dodge the issue? |

| I, too, have registered at unilang. Haven't posted yet. Username : greg-fr. |

| I applied to them, but I haven't gotten an email back from them yet. |

| Whoops, I had it sent off to the wrong email address. |

Kirk,
much better forum. Thanks My recent posts have been deleted and I wonder why... Antimoon has become too weird lately . |
| Ack, their confirmation mechanism is *not* working - it is rejecting all passwords that I've provided it, even the one that was provided by the "forgot your password?" machism on the site... |

| Chamonix, well, that's because you know why has a tendency to delete posts that are "off topic", of course off topic being what said individual decides on a whim is such, usually due to not liking such themselves. |
