"See Josep Lluis (indepedentist leader of ERC) bite peoples heads off for not pronouncing his name right, and calling him "Jose Luis": "
This video was a little too political for me but I understand the guy because I don't like people calling my name with Spanish pronunciation since I'm not hispanic...
I agree with the guy wanting his name to be pronounced correctly but think he's being too cocky wanting Spanish speakers to speak Catalan.
I'm proud there's only one official language in Brazil...Of course I understand that the Africans, indians and other peoples had the pay the price for that...

FUI!!!

If Europan Portuguese and Galician are not the same language, then Brazilian is not the same as Portuguese as well.

''I think the Brazilian government should make sure ALL have access to education and write properly before they try to write like all Portuguese speakers.''

Please remember that education does not change the language usage.
Many Afrikaans speakers have flawless education but they never learn proper Dutch, same with Swiss people which hate nonSwiss German and many Americans who ''could care less'' about the ''Queen's language''
