Shall I write my name and address in my motivation letter?

Hello!

My Motivation Letter for admission in a Master's programme is ready!

It starts with Dear Madam or Sir, because I don't know the name of the admission officer; and it ends with Yours Faithfully..my name.

My question is shall I leave it like that, or shall I write my name, address, e-mail on the top of the paper, the address of the University, or its useless, considering that I will send in also application form, CV and the rest of the documents needed where they can see this personal information.

Thank you again for your help!

I always assume that each document must stand on its own. If your CV or other documents are misplaced, how would the admission officer know who to contact?

You could be judged on the professionalism of your motivation letter. Why not use the best format possible?

I use the following example. There is a link for samples at the bottom of the page.
