Actually, it means 'bloody mess'.
In France, it would rather be some harsh profanity like "foutu bordel" or "sacrée merde".

Just getting into "Les Cowboys Fringants". Great music, but some of their lyrics are frickin hard to understand. At least they're not so bad as "les colocs".
