<<I thought the Spanish fanatics insist that the Spanish is 2nd most popular in France. How come that they posted a crappy website that Chinese is popular in France. Don't they feel jealous that an Asian language is more popular in France than Spanish.

I know, they're happy that Chinese is popular in France because the whole of hispanic america will become chinese speakers because China is pouring in huge investment since hispanic americans don't have money to invest in their own countries and the western world is fed up in investing in that region and transferred their establishments in China.

To hispanic americans: say "Adios to hola" and say "Bienvenidos to Ni hao". Chinese will take over hispanic america through investments.>>

All false, is normal if we speak about french fanatic....

Chinese has become the fifth-most popular foreign language studied in France, following English, Spanish, German and Italian, with more than 10,000 children learning Chinese now.

About 15 primary schools have added Chinese to their curriculum.

Unlike the decreasing demand for foreign-language teachers, the need for Chinese teachers is on a rise.

Eight teachers have obtained certificates to teach Chinese in high school. The number will increase to 12 next year.

The hispanic fanatics are bragging so much about the large number of native speakers when it lags behind from English, French, Russian, Portuguese, Arabic, and Chinese in secondary speakers.

http://www2.ignatius.edu/faculty/turner/worldlang.htm

And it has no outer core and it is well behind English, French, Russian, German, and Arabic.

http://www2.ignatius.edu/faculty/turner/worldlang.htm

This makes Spanish not an international language or lingua franca because its users are the countries whose native language is Spanish.

<< Obama said he will make Spanish an official language in the whole US. >>

Yeah but only in your dreams while you are having a deep siesta. But if he really did say that, lots of genuine Americans will protest.
Guest   Sun Jun 22, 2008 2:02 pm GMT
Most of Americans agree with Obama. Only backward rednecks are against making Spanish an official language in US.

Assume it, the next president of US will be a black and he will declare Spanish an official language.
Guest   Sun Jun 22, 2008 2:18 pm GMT
If Spanish is declared an official language of the US, it'll be the only official language, unless they also also do something about English at ther same time.
