Are you joking? Sarkozy hardly speaks English. I listen to him and evey when he is not drunk his English is barely understandable.

Lengoua

Je prèjo de vielyes paroles
nèssues avoué ma chèrn viventa,
èpandues dens lo men cervél
per ses bârmes encognues
et sortues come de museca du temps
Fouètâyes de ma lengoua,
de sons crèssus per des sièclos
sur des boches amàres
suègies et batus entre les dents du temps,
sortus de la via
come des sorires et des criâs
et come una moça de dolœr
dessus lo torment de la chèrn
et du cœr.

Some French dialect.
No occitan, it's easily understandable for a French speaker.
Must be something like francoprovençal.

More specifically, it's the French dialect currently dying out in Vallée d'Aoste (under Italian administration):

Arpitan is the language of Arpitania, not a French dialect. Arpitania is an alpine region betwin Italy, France and Swizerland.

Italian nation preserve minority languages so Arpitan is still alive in Italy. In France the language is dead because France uses politics of assimilation with minorities.

Statistics about Arpitan language.

Valle d'Aosta/Vallée d'Aoste:
1860 Arpitan speakers 80%
2001 Arpitan speakers 60/70%

Savoy/Savoia:
1860 Arpitan speakers 80/90%
2001 Arpitan speakers less than 5%

Greek language will die off in about 100 years. It will be taken over by Turkish, Albanian and Bulgarian languages. Greek will be spoken only in a couple of deserted islands close to Cyprus, which in itself, by that time will be transformed into the largest European deportation center for illegal emigrants.

Also, Serbian, Croatian, and Slovak languages will be declared unsuitable for use by their own people, and replaced by Russian in popular votes. Belorussian teachers will be employed in key education offices to make a smooth transition.

Polish people will embrace German language as their only hope against the Russian increased influence. At the same time, military uniforms of any kind will be declared illegal to own or display in an urgent parliamentary session.

Romanians will try unsuccessfully to replace their language with Italian, and as a result the country will be disbanded and chopped up between its neighbors. One small village with Roma population will be given the status of Principality by the European Council and declared unsafe to visit or travel.

Eastern part of Russia will use Chinese as a result of a two-state deal that will ensure the existence of Russia for the next 100 years. Many Russian babies will be named Dalai Lamavich, as a sign of revolt against the unpopular agreement.

I am so turned on right now...

Will Europe (the culture languages, people, etc.) even be around 100 years from now? Of course, for most of us, it won't matter.

Well, at least Greek will finally be eliminated. God, how ugly that language is...

Modern Greek is one of the nicest languages in the world, it's much more musical and interesting than Spanish!
By the way, Greek has been living for more 3.000 years and it will never die! Believe me
