English is very easy. As easy as knowing that when French and Greek breed (which is very rare, because it is very hard to find a straight Greek), the outcome is always a Filipino gay.

Good luck!

Is there an easier language than English outside of Europe?

No way, it is the second easiest after Spanish ;)

Why do you insist in that Spanish is easy? Do you think that Spanish speakers feel offended by that? I wish Spanish was easier than English because it would be more studied. People study easy languages, not Chinese , Navajo, Basque and such, but I must recognize that English is way more easy than Spanish. Backward societies tend to be more difficult languages whereas Spanish and English are easy because they are evolved languages.

<<People study easy languages, not Chinese >>

People study languages that are useful. When Chinese becomes more useful than English, everyone who is educated will have to study Chinese to be competitive. (This assumes that China does not eliminate the non-Chinese population around the world, once they become dominant and are able to.)

What a stupid statement! People study useful languages. Educated romans used to learn Greek, even though it wasn't that simple, because Greek culture and influence were so impartant at that time. Nowadays most people learn English because of the importance of this language worldwide. In the future people will probably study Chinese, Hindi or Arabic. it doesn't matter how tough they are....

You're wrong. English is no more studied these days than French, Spanish or Russian. What is studied a lot is English International Creole which is not the same thing.

Chinese is useful, but very few people study it in the Western Hemisphere.

You think Chinese is hard?

As for the grammar I reckon Chinese is even simpler than English, but its tones and particularly idiograms are quite complex
