Need help spicing sentence up

Say a government dignitary or official is going to head a gathering. For the heck of it, let's assume it's a meeting.
I am trying to write an invitation card. But not too particular about the wording: "You are invited to join us at the Tower meeting with Barak Obama on August 5th, 2012 in Antarctica."
What do you think?

The sentence sounds OK

You can try to hard, and give the wrong impression.
