what is the diffrnce btw...
i had a gr8 dy and i have had a gr8 day....
means have had is past perfct...and have is presnt prfct...
den wot is had had..??
*I had had a good day 90 years ago.
I don't think this is 100%, but it sounds even more perfect than the "have had" form.
"Yesterday, I had a gr8 day." I don't think "have had" would fit here.
"I've had a gr8 day, so far." Probably said before the day is over.
there are certain things that we have like fever, dinner, lunch etc
so have had and had had is used in these kind of things... have had means present perfct... i have had a great day means i had a great day in the past and now also i m having a great day... i had had a great day is not complete sentence...i had had a great day before she came is complete...it means i had a great day in the past but not now... i had a great day means same as had had.... these are my views...please feel free to correct me...
