Meaning of "you'll be in the neighborhood"

I was wondering: what is the meaning of "you'll be in the neighborhood" in the following comic strip:

Mackmillan English Dictionary says: in the neigbourhood of sth = near a particular amount in quantity or money. Example: in the neighbourhood of 20%/$ 5 000.
So it's something like: ten more pairs and you'll be almost cool.

In this case it would mean approximately correct.
