What does CAPITALISM mean to you? Do you like it or not?

lol just go to Brazil or something, where all men hug each other as if they're in Chelsea, NYC, and write "Abrazos" in place of "Sincerely yours" :-)))))))))

I've heard that Chinese eat flies, earthworms, live money brains, and cockroaches. Is this true?

Why are there still people who believe in socialism? Are they retarded and little can be done with them? It's like believing in Santa Claus, God or another fictional character, utterly ridiculous. I don't mean that capitalism is perfect, but socialism is not the solution to its flaws.

Socialism is not only Hugo Chavez. A kind of socialism exists in Northern Europe and Scandinavia, and incidentally, those countries also have the highest standards of living in the world...

Maybe they're a special case, I don't know much about it, but whatever system is used by the countries with the highest standards of living in the world deserves to be examined and imitated.

Is it possible that it isn't socialism that gives those countries their high standard of living, but rather the fact that they are all white, and haven't been overrun by a bunch of niggers they have to support?

No, it's the fusion of socialism and capitalism. Try it.

<<and haven't been overrun by a bunch of niggers they have to support? >>

Isn't this statement in violation of the principles of Political Correctness?

If someone in Europe posted this, couldn't they be arrested for "hate speech" (actually writing, in this case)?

I view Capitalism in a simple way related to the roots of the word. The definition in my head is "allowing people to use capital (money) to generate profit". As a result, those who have access to capital can compete with others with capital to increase their own wealth.

In essence, therefore, Capitalism favours those who have capital, or have access to capital via credit. It also favours those who have the business acumen to use capital most efficiently to generate the most profit.

The result is a highly divided society, separated into the successful capitalists with vast wealth, those who work for successful capitalists with modest wealth, and on the other side of the fence, unsuccessful capitalists and those deemed not good enough to work for successful capitalists, both destitute.

This can be seen clearly in the USA, where people are more free than anywhere to generate profit from capital, but also where there is an enormous divide between the successful rich and the unsuccessful poor.

Socialism is merely a modified form of capitalism, which effectively siphons off profit from successful capitalists to provide a basic standard of living for those who are less successful.

I personally think it's our duty as human beings to look after our whole race, and not to let rot in the gutter those who are less successful or less able, or those enterprising people with no access to capital.

I agree. Everything else are just remains of the American anti-soviet propaganda. Obsolete and foolish.

I know, Guest, I know. It was not until I spoke to residents of the former Soviet Union that I realized just how much propaganda I had been subjected to over the years. I am ashamed to admit that I believed almost all of it.

Living in the Soviet Union was, in reality, no picnic, of course. But for the masses, neither was it the living Hell that we were all taught it was. The trouble is, no one wants to hear the story of the masses--it's too boring. Rather, they all want to hear the stories of the victims.

You sound as if you rather disapprove of the victims, Jasper.

Oh, my.

Am I the only one who gets the monumentally hilarious irony of what I have to assume is an OAKLAND RAIDERS fan using the word "niggers"?

You might want to avoid the home games, buddy....

"You sound as if you rather disapprove of the victims, Jasper. "

Not at all; you missed the point entirely.

The point is, in the endeavor of anti-Soviet propaganda, the American-led Western media focused on the victims of Communism, while completely ignoring any benefits that the masses might have enjoyed.
