l in walking and talking

Seems to me that I've heard some dialect in which the l is pronounced in words such as walk and talk. Anybody know what dialect is?

I've never heard of such pronunciation. It must be a foreign accent. Or maybe the dialect of some lost town somewhere in the English Speaking world.

That "l" is always silent as far as I know.

The l can be pronounced in those words in Southern American English.
