Hi,

I work at a community college. In the window of one of the dorms there is a sign. it has 3 words in what appears to be russian. i took a picture but can only make out two of the words.

here they are. by using the alphabet i transliterated the last word and found out that it is gulag which i didn't even know what meant. i found out it is something about stalin's prison camps. can anyone help with what this is. the fist word is incomplete and the second two words are as follows.

I need to know if this is something bad. i honestly don't know what it means.

Thanks in advance

снйфн
сибнрскнл
гчлаг

You transliterated wrong.
сибнрскнл - probably сибирский - Siberian
снйфн - means nothing, try again

"гчлаг" is coming up as goulag in google

Thanks,

I looked again and the second word is siberian. this is the first word.
симонова

so: ____________? siberian gulag

it's probably semEnova. that's a Russian surname.
