i don't tell you now the name of this language (not a dialect) in danger of extinction. Which romance language is more similar to this one for you?

Perhaps it is closer to occitan or catalan than to italian.

i believe it's closer to romansch spoken in switzerland actually (rhaeto-romance). not in the same group as standard italian, as it has more in common with southern french languages.
