The list should have been:

1. English
2. French
3. Russian
4. Arabic
5. Spanish

Russian is spoken in many countries too. Chinese is spoken in China, Taiwan, HK, and Singapore.

Top 3 global languages :
1.Kashubian
2. Frisian
3. Navaho

I'd probably encourage ordinary students in the US to learn Spanish; however, I'd prefer that several languages be available as a third language.

Third language choices:
French, Chinese, Arabic as a secular language, Greek, Japanese, German, and Russian.

English, Spanish and Chinese.
