I don't know, it sounds interesting. But my Indian friend (who was raised in America) told me that Tamil is like the Latin of Indian languages, meaning barely anyone speaks it anymore. Is this a fair comparison? I personally would have thought that title would go to Sanskrit, and that Tamil is more useful than Hindi in the South.
