Why don't the Spanish speakers open threads against Chinese? Chinese is direct competitor of Spanish:

Chinese: 20 millions of secondary speakers

Spanish: 20 millions of speakers.

Both Chinese Spanish have huge native speakers and seldom used outside their respective turfs.

This stupid Fly is very disgusting. I repeat it, when you speak about a language, give us an OFFICIAL WEBPAGE to confirm your data.

Countries where Spanish is a minority

Peru, Bolivia and Paraguay live in a particular situation. Peru, Bolivia and Paraguay live in a particular situation. In Peru, 47% of Peruvians speak Spanish while the rest of the population uses one of 85 languages "Indian" (including the Aymara and Quechua). Spanish is also a minority in Bolivia (43%) and Paraguay (3%). Spanish is also a minority in Bolivia (43%) and Paraguay (3%). There are a good forty languages "Indian" in Bolivia (with Aymara and Quechua).

Finally, in two countries, Paraguay in South America and Equatorial Guinea in Africa, almost all of the population uses a language other than Spanish as their mother tongue. This situation resembles that of several states of Francophone and Anglophone Africa: a small minority use the official language as mother tongue. In Paraguay, about 97% of the population speaks Guarani. According to paragraph 2 of Article 140 of the Constitution of Paraguay (1992): "Its official languages are Castilian and Guarani."

As for Equatorial Guinea, squeezed between Cameroon and Gabon (two French-speaking states), including the Spanish remains the official language (with French), but 75% of the population speaks the blood and 25% share seven other languages of this small country of 410 000 inhabitants. During 1998, Parliament adopted the Constitutional Act Amending Article 4 of the Basic Law and stating that "the official languages of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea are Spanish and French. In fact, Spanish is the first official language, French, second. In fact, Spanish is the first official language, French the second.

Are you crazy?

The number of French speakers is officially 200 million, according to the Francophonie, and 75 of them as mother tongue.

The webpage that you gave us is private. But anyway they say:

<<On peut croire que ce nombre de 500 millions touche tout ceux qui, d'une façon ou d'une autre, peuvent être en contact avec le monde francophone.>>

So, he thinks that 500 million are in contact with French language, but they don't speak it, asshole!

For example, all Canadians are in some way in contact with French language, but only 7 million speak it, stupid!

In short, French language is becoming a regional one, out of the top ten languages (Chinese, English, Spanish, Hindi, Arabic, Russian, Indonesian, Urdu, Bengali and Portuguese). Besides, according to all experts in languages (Forbes, David Graddol), French language is in free fall.

PD. German and Italian languages are also out of the top ten languages are they are not crazy and lying all day. They are not nervous and saying stupid things all their lives. So, don't worry, be happy, and enjoy your life!
Macarena   Wed May 12, 2010 4:31 pm GMT
As of 12 May 2010, the human population of the world is estimated to be 6,820,400,000, of which about 80% have listened to the "Macarena" at some point in their lives.

Therefore the global population of Spanish speakers is well over 5,000,000,000.
Wow, that makes me so very happy !
I will close my eyes now and dream that the Macarena is being used as the hymn for the United Nations ...

eeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhh ....

My kind advice to all Men of Good Will is to ignore anyone who addresses you in French.

And let it be known that you have better things to do.

My kind advice to all Men of Good Will is not to study Spanish because it's just a waste of time and impractical language which is useless because of no opportunities since it's not a source of knowledge. It relies on input not output. It's just a receiver not a giver, in other words it's a greedy language just like its speakers.

And let it be known that you have better things to do.

Are you crazy?

The number of Spanish speakers is officially 320 million, according to SIL-Ethnologue, and 75 of them as mother tongue.

The webpage that you gave us is made by Instituto Cervantes, a hispanic institution. But anyway they say:

<< So, he thinks that 500 million are in contact with French language, but they don't speak it, asshole! >>

You stinking and rotting shit they said that "According to the Economic and Social Council of Paris, the number of "French" have even reached 500 million in 2000."

<< For example, all Canadians are in some way in contact with French language, but only 7 million speak it, stupid! >>

29.4% or 9,487,500 Canadians speak French as mother tongue and
6,4% or 2,065,300 of Canadians are bilingual. You stinking and rotting shit.

http://www.tlfq.ulaval.ca/axl/francophonie/OIF-francophones-est2005.htm

In short, Spanish language is becoming a regional one, out of the top eight languages in terms of non-native speakers (French, English, Russian, Arabic, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Swahili). Besides, most of the international institutions have French, English, Russian, and German (UN, EU, NATO, ECOSOC), Spanish language is shrinking.

PS. Chinese and Hindi languages are also out of the top eight languages are they are not crazy and lying all day. They are not nervous and saying stupid things all their lives. So, don't worry, be happy, and enjoy your life!
