Brennus where art thou?

Guest   Wed Feb 07, 2007 9:59 pm GMT
Still it would be nice if Brennus could explain why those German / Dutch
topics were deleted. Sofar his excuse that they deviated or were personal messages are absolutely incorrect. They were just the exercise of a power crazy little man.

You guys are overestimating Brennus's abilities to acknowledge his mistakes way too much.

"What does it mean: "nor fix anything"?"

"Neither" and "nor" are used together as a way of emphasizing on two equally negative statements.
Arguing with him will neither help nor fix anything = Arguing with him will not help and will not fix anything.

Jeez this is the internet, who gives a donkey about regulations. Just write what comes to mind, and if it stays well all's good, and if it gets deleted, then sucks to be you. Get over it. Its only the internet.

>>----Just write what comes to mind, and if it stays well all's good, and if it gets deleted, then sucks to be you. Get over it. Its only the internet.----<<

What we wrote were questions about german grammar and other things about the language. Some german native -speakers answered those questions, and we discussed the points, and practised to put this difficulties into sentences because language not in context isn't worth nothing -just abstract words.

The same apply to the dutch threads.

We didn't wrote only what comes to mind, but we wanted learning some more about german and dutch. On the threads deleted by brennus were many informations and it is *very* annoying, frustrating, etc that after much hard work by the people who've very well explained us the grammatical points, this was disrespectfully and ignorantly deleted by Brennus who evidently can't understand german. If Brennus could have understood those threads, then of course, he wouldn't think that my native language is german!!!

For you it's only the internet, for me, this forum *was* very fun place for learning and improving my knowldege of especially german, but dutch, spanish and english also. I can't study languages during much time at school because very often I'm ill so I can't go to school and because I've chosed sciences so time for languages is very limited.

So, for you it's just internet, and you don't care if are deleted your messages. I can tell you, that we (Icke, frederik, aquatar, Arthur , me and others) were very sad when our threads was deleted without no explications or reasons.

Why does have Antimoon a languages forum? It's mystery why it's not named: "Brennus' forum for english and it's interdiction speak another language"

It is absurd that a moderator is allowed to moderate a language he doesn't really understand.
What if tomorrow a Chinese wants to post in Chinese about Chinese?
Guest   Thu Feb 08, 2007 2:38 pm GMT
America is a superpower and so are the citizens of the country. He can moderate any forums whatsover be it a porn forum or a language forum. If you can not beat them, join them. Your outcry will not budge the moderateor an iota from his position. It is finally upto you to stay on the forum oi leave it and seek to post somewhere else. He has better things to do in his life than to read your mindless complaints.

but nobody of the entire world don't have respect for America, because of such nationalistic comments as yours. I don't care if brennus is american, polish, french, chinese, german, white, black, blue, green, etc... it's about his moderation NOT citizenship /nationality!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Americans are those who murder British soldiers who are in Iraq for help the US to invade? Yes, what superpower!!! They just want take over all the world.

Ugh. Obviously the crazy bitch has problems with letting things go.
Zorro   Thu Feb 08, 2007 4:14 pm GMT
Pauline is only 14. Give her a rest. In fact it's good she can speak up when something isn't right.
But Pauline, you really need to let it go, seriously. Brennus is just not the type who can be reasoned with.
Anti-Pauline   Thu Feb 08, 2007 4:29 pm GMT
Being 14 doesn't excuse being an arse.

hello Zorro

>>----In fact it's good she can speak up when something isn't right.---<<

Thank you :-) I believe it's very important in life to not accept injustice.

hello Anti-Pauline

Wow!! how similar are our names!!! What coincidence!!

>>----Obviously the crazy bitch has problems with letting things go.----<<

Crazy? Sometimes I'm completely, absolutly crazy and mad!! it's true. But not today, and not during I've written this messages.

Bitch? No, I'm never bitching. If there's something what's not just, then I will tell it, not bitch (I understand this word to mean you will tell badly when the person's not present).

>>----Being 14 doesn't excuse being an arse.----<<

This would mean being stupid or something like this? No, I'm not at all stupid. Probably it's the Anti-Pauline who's an arse!! You confuse you because of the similar name!!

««But Pauline, you really need to let it go, seriously. Brennus is just not the type who can be reasoned with»»

Is this a new ideology?
The Americans went to war with Iraque because they couldn't reason with Sadam. They could not reason with Hitler and went to war. And now it is shut up because Brennus is an American?

««Brennus: I found that out when I met my first Romanian speakers in 1973 - that they usually don't pronounce final -i

Gabriel :
Brennus, I'm afraid that the way you English speakers pronounce consonants makes you believe that Rmanians are not pronouncing "i" at the end... For flori, ciuperci, meri, peri, etc there is always an "i" to be heard. »»

Hey funny, Brennus got it wrong again. I particularly like the " my first Romanians". Sounds like " my first hamburger" I had at Mc Donalds.
