What's the difference between 'made of' and 'made from'?

'Made of' - material of the item. (example: The doll is made of plastic.)
'Made From' - Location where the item was made/manufactured (example: The doll was made in China.)

Sorry, my mistake. I confused it with 'Made in'
Correction:
'Made From' - Same as 'Made of'

No difference in meaning.

There is a difference between the two parases.

you use "be made from" when you can't tell what the material is from the surface. Like, Paper is made from wood.

and you use "be made of" when you can tell what the material is from the surface. Like, The ring is made of gold.

now, see it?
