out or outside or ?

Hello,

If you want to leave home and go to town, do you say that you

(1) ... go out.

or

(2) ... go outside.


???

go out.

go outside is just going from the inside of a building, vehicle, etc to outside

Yeah, "go outside" implies that the person is going to stay nearby.

"I'm going out" or "I'm off out" tend to be what are said. Outside tends to mean you are staying in the general area. Like "I'm off outside" would probably mean you are going in the garden, or the street or something.

i have always had kind of the same doubt, but which of this do i have to use, when i mean that i am leaving a place:
1. I'm gonna get going
2. I am leaving
and what should i use to say that i left work or college:
1. i came out of my house/work..... late
2. i came off house/work... late
3. i left home/work..... late
