Hello!!

Is it correct to say "I have a toothache"?[is the article 'a' correct here?]

or is it more correct to say "an aching tooth?"

Thank you

It is ''a toothache'' not ''an toothache''. And yes, ''toothache'' is correct.

the question was about the article 'a'

whether it should be 'a toothache' or just just 'toothache' without 'a'

"I have toothache" is wrong. "I have aching tooth" is wrong for the same reason. Singular nouns get articles.
