Street Talk Question. The House Guest

Hi friend,

I got some new questions about Street talk English. I was wondering if you could tell me the street talk synonyms for:
1. handle; 2. give a hand; 3. lift a finger; 4. bend over backwards;
5. sleep in; 6. check this out and 7. horn.

The followings are the converstations in which the above words and phrases appear:
- Cecily: How gross. I can’t handle people like that. Does he at least give you a hand around the house?
- Jim: He doesn’t lift a finger! I bend over backwards cleaning up all day and he sleeps in until noon. Oh, and check this out … then he gets on the horn with his friends and invites them over.

Thank you very much in advance!

7) "horn" = dog. As in "Dog and bone" = "phone". Or blower. But that shows me up to be from London.

"Dog and bone" is no longer confined to London. Some people even say just "dog". "Get him on the dog for me, please".

I had my barnet done yesterday.....looks cool.
