That sentence would definitely use "all the time".

"All of the time" may not technically be wrong, but it would sound very stilted and unnatural in this sentence.

Compare:

"all the time" = 41,500,000 Google hits
"all of the time" = 1,060,000 Google hits

I myself would actually tend towards "all of the time" over "all the time" in many contexts, particularly ones where it is being used to indicate things which are frequent, such as in this case. On the other hand, I strongly prefer "all the time" to refer to the sum of the time where something else applies rather than something being frequent. But that's me, and why, I don't know.

OK, this is the last word. In the Kinks song; it is 'all of the time'.

All day and all of the night

Im not content to be with you in the daytime
Girl I want to be with you all of the time
The only time I feel alright is by your side
Girl I want to be with you all of the time
All day and all of the night
All day and all of the night
All day and all of the night

So___ Long...
