"Your prompt reply will be highly appreciated, specially taking into account the approaching week-end." Is the "approaching" OK, or "forthcoming" would be better?
Thank you in advance

I'm afraid I don't understand the sentence. What does the weekend have to do with "your prompt reply?" Do you wish them to reply by the weekend?
PRETTY MUCH before, since upon their reply there will be a lot of things to do BEFORE the weekend.
Your prompt reply will be highly appreciated, as the week-end is looming large.
May put it like that ? Please tell me. Thanks. |
