My exwife is from Cleveland,Ohio and she always says "wester-ren" instead of "western" I was wondering if this is a pronounciation found only in Ohio? I had also thought maybe it was Ebonics, but havent met anyone else who is Black that pronounces it this way?

Different. Could just be her, you know, rather than a dialectical feature.
