Very biased.

how much time did these bunch of idiocies require you to write them all?
Dude Who Knows   Sat Jun 09, 2007 5:02 pm GMT
English cannot coin it's own terms and therefore has a tendency to borrow? You mean like "Le weekend"?
Guest   Sat Jun 09, 2007 5:24 pm GMT
Does anyone want to list any other crap?

I think you meant to say that Spanish isn't learned as a foreign language very much outside of the US.
WOW!   Sat Jun 09, 2007 5:58 pm GMT
What a professional and accurate analysis! It's stunning, I suggest you to write an university book.
Let me think.... is there another idiotic stereotype to add??? MHHHH...no, it's such and hard task to find other ones.

Guest (the first one in this thread) wrote an interesting analysis. If you disagree with his conclusions, you can state why, or else ignore the thread. Why do we have this constant knee-jerk reaction with hateful speech on almost EVERY thread, no matter what the topic? Don't we have a moderator here?

I'm sure I'll have an instantaneous obnoxious reply to my post, so I'm not going to be surprised. I do, however, remain hopeful of better behaviour. This is a great forum, but it get's harder and harder to keep reading with all the flamers.

Chinese spoken natively in more than 15 countries?? Huh??

Chinese has more speakers than Japanese.

It's also worth noting that Chinese's writing system is incredibly hard to learn (about as bad as Japanese's; I'm not sure which is harder), and it's only a good representation of Mandarin, so it doesn't correlate well to other Chinese dialects.

What about French "l'email", "l'internet" or "un pullover" or German "das Bestseller", "das Computer", "das Couch", "Eskalation", "Konfrontation", "Impeachment", "Jeep" which have all been borrowed from English? Even the German word "boot" (boat) comes from English.

OHHH!!! Very interesting! Above all when it says about one language is "easy" or when it is spoken in coubtries where it does not exist, very scientific.
Maybe these reactions are constant because the 99% of the topic are constant idiotic.
Right, where is the moderator? Why he doesn't delete this topics? Why does he delete only the topics he doesn't like?
