My particular grating when it comes to getting words wrong is 'pacifically' instead of 'specifically'.......................so annoying!

That type of mispronunciation is most common among the functionally illiterate or among those with very limited reading vocabularies. People who have not read a word in print will often mispronounce it. I rarely encounter the mispronunciation you describe among adults, but when I do, it's usually because the speaker has never actually seen this word in print.

Such mispronunciations are very common in children precisely because they have never encountered such words in print. Normally they correct themselves as their vocabulary and reading skills improve.

where i have to use could and would

"Could" is related to "can", and implies that you are able to do something. "Would" is related to "will", meaning that you want or intend to do something. Use "could" wherever you would use "can", and "would" where you would use "will".

An example:

I would go to Greece if I could get enough money.

I partickly get "annoyed" when "particularly comes out as "partickly".
