"some" in questions

In which cases do we use "some" in questions?

Would you like some examples?

some= a restriction or limitation. A part.
any = no restriction, no limitation. All, or nothing.

Go use it in that way.

Veron, it's one of the most frequent questions. I don't think M56 has helped you much. I'll try.

Some is often used when sth is offered or asked for.
Would you like some tea?
Could you give me some examples?

It is also used in questions where we are sure about the answer:

Did he give you some tea? (= I'm sure he did.)
Is there some fruit juice in the fridge? (= I think there is)

Some is used in situations where the question is not a request for information, but a method of making a request, encouraging or giving an invitation:

Could I have some books, please?
Why don't you take some books home with you?
Would you like some books?

<Could I have some books, please? >

"Can I have any book I want?"

Do you expect the answer to be in the affirmative?
