What is the difference between said and told?

said =pronounced (abt media -wrote)
told = informed or ordered

Told suggests an order.

"I told you to come here!"

Said is just reporting. It can be just as strong though.

"I SAID NOW!"

What they said. Except if you 'tell' someone something, it can also mean you're giving them some information as well as the order thing.
