French is much simpler than Italian from a morphological point of view. For instance, spoken French does not even distinguish most plurals, moreover it has fewer verb endings compared to other latin languages.
As for plurals, Spanish is very easy, all plurals end in -s or -es, without exception. Italian has -i, -e, -ci, -gi and even some plurals in -a, coming from the latin neuter.

English is simplest but is it the best?
Chinese is more complex but is it the worst?
