What is 'mild language'?

I read the reviews about Bridge To Terabithia that was a movie from Walt Disney Pictures.
it was rated PG for mild language.. what is mild language?...
Explain the meaning and examples of it.

Basically it means language unlikely to offend in any way - be it by the use of swear words or any thing generally considered obscene, or a form of language likely to breach the codes of any of the "----isms", unfortunately, governing much of what people say and which can only be described as "contraventions of political correctness".

Actually, in this context it means language that might offend a little. Things that you might not want your own kids to say... "hell" and "damn" usually fall into this category. (Note that "hell" and possibly "damn" are somewhat stronger words in the US than in the UK, though they're still used very casually by adults most of the time.) But it does mean that very strong curse words are not used, which would be called "strong language".
