France should free the north of the Basque country and the north of catalonia.
And give corsica to italy.

Basque country and catalonia belongs to spain.

"France should free the north of the Basque country and the north of catalonia. And give corsica to italy. "

No one in French Catalonia, Basque country or Corsica wants to join Spain or Italy.

Hispanics in Texas do not want to be given to Mexico either.

No one wants to be downgraded to a lower league.

<< I don't think so. >>

You don't have the right to say that because you don't speak a single French word in the first place. You're just here to bash.

Shut up you stupid detractors of the French language.

If Parisian and Quebec French are not mutually intelligible how come that the 2 individuals in this video perfectly understand each other?

Le Chausson Show -- Québec
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V_xXGcvO_Bs

The guy speaks in Quebec French and the puppet who's the host of the show speak in Louisiana Cajun French.

We all know that French Canadians and Cajuns are not exposed to each others' speech.

Merci Nouvelle-Écosse !

In the following video, people gavetestimony and thanked the Nova Scotia government for their schooling in French. Now don't tell me that you don't unberstand what they're talking about just because of their rolled r instead of uvular one.

Finally, here's a video in which a Frenchman and an cadian guys are having a pseudo argument with each other, again they perfectly understand each other.

France vs. Acadie Hilarious 2

Now can you tell who's the Acadian in the 3rd video? The oneon the left or right?

I suppose those who are pretending to speak French will not be able to tell.

Now hear how Anglophones of New Brunswick speak Acadian French in this video.

Isn't that despite the fact the Acadian form of French is used and the English Canadian accent, they are understood by to those who speak standard or Parisian French?

...The French spoken in Canada is actually closer to the French of Louis XV than to modern Parisian French. For example, moi and toi are pronounced mway and tway, just as they were in the time of Moliere. Movies in true Quebecois may require subtitles to be understood in France. Some French people find it funny-sounding, others find it quite charming.

But quebec french is very rare, special and sounds pleasant. Will be a pity if it disappear because of english influence, despite being one different language from french.

French Catalonia does not exist. There is a French department called Roussillon that used to belong to Catalonia, Spain, but it is not part of Catalonia nowadays. Catalonia has higher GDP per capita than Roussillon.
It should be noted that when Napoleon invaded Spain, there was a strong partisan movement in Catalonia, because nobody wanted to become French.

It won't disappear in Canada.

In fact 10 million Canadians speak French and there are Anglo-Canadians who speak French as a secondary language or completely bilingual thanks to the successful French immersion classes present in every province.

French is the official global language of Canada not English.

I also love Quebec French. It's just the same language but pronounced with a way warmer tone. European French sounds too cold and dry.

"Will be a pity if it disappear because of english influence"

No way. It won't happen. Many people of the old English minority switch to French as their main language. There are even an increasing number of English speaking Québec nationalists.
