Harry Potter books to improve English

Not a lot of extracurricular activities. I think they just had high GPAs (higher than mine), did really well on the SAT and probably interviewed really well. They did not fit the stereotype "nerd" mold to be sure, a mold that I probably do fit. Heh heh. However, I have no idea if I could have been admitted into a Ivy League university as I did not try to apply for one. The essays and recommendations were too much work for me and I had the option of attending an excellent public in-state university.
