No I dont think that Estuary English will be popular in cities north of the west midlands. I live in Manchester (north-west england) and I dont think that we all hate Londoners, many people (including myself) are fed up with the whole of England always being assumed to speak like the queen or londoners that is the only problem I think many people have.
