A nice site for German as posted on the Supermemo Yahoo group this morning. An interesting thing about the example sentences is that they are taken from realworld sources:

>>>>>
As a source of exemplary sentences in German I use
"Wortschatz-Lexicon" http://wortschatz.informatik.uni-leipzig.de/
They claim to have 35 milion of sentences in their database...

There's also a list of 10000 "top-words" in German, English, Dutch and
French. (http://wortschatz.informatik.uni-leipzig.de/html/wliste.html)

I like www.shavian.org and www.shawalphabet.com for information on Alternate Phonetic Alphabets for English. Although I think the ASCII Phonetic Alphabet has them beat for ease of use.

I've recently found http://ccc.commnet.edu/grammar/. It's a very good site for me - a lot of texts and grammar. There is almost everything. Try it.
