going broke

"Everybody is going broke".
Can I use the verb "going" with any other adjictives? Like " everyone is going hungry now because there's no food", or "I go sleepy during the lecture because our instructor is so boring. Is the verb " going" consistant to some certain verbs?
Did I use consistent right?

It's "consistant with" and you can go hungry, it often happens when you've gone broke, but you can't go sleepy and you can't go crazy but you can't go lazy.

Nic,

The colloquial way of saying "I'm going to be lazy" would be "I'm gonna be lazy."

"you can't go crazy"

I assume this is a mistake because you can go crazy.
