Agnes, I've found this audio (ram) file of an interview where you can hear Jo O'meara's strong Essex accent. Come to think of it, I reckon everyone who wants to pick up the Estuary accent will find this audio sample VERY USEFULL.
Enjoy!
That Jo sounds like... well... lets just say she'd be perfect example for the "Essex girl" stereotype if u know what I mean... ;-)
Tom H & Agnes: told u so!
It is still very hard to immitate this sort of accent. got any tips, anyone?
Agnes- You can always read the previous messages on this matter.

AGNES:
No, not really, except to suggest perhaps that you locate to Milton Keynes for as long as your circumstances permit, and when you are not doing the scene there, stick yourself in front of the telly and watch:
1. East Enders
2. Family Affairs
3. Gift of the Gab
4. Milkshake!
If you ain' go' ya glo'-uls sor'-ed by ven then you ain' gonna do it, hun!
Damian -
Moving to Milton Keynes is out of the question for now...
Where are these shows on (apart from EastEnders)?
Jason - Have I used what?
