I came across a sentence that said: "Ifve been following it to a gth. " I looked up in a dictionary, but couldn't find this phrase. What exactly does that mean?

I also found "follow ... to a tee" (instead of using "t") on google. Are they both the same?

To "follow to a tee" means to follow something perfectly or exactly.

Example:

It was important that he follow her instructions to a tee if the cake was to come out right.

There is no difference between 'to a t' and 'to a tee'. Some
people spell out the names of letters (aye, bee, cee, dee, etc..)
while other people just write the letter (a,b,c,d).
