If e.g. quality clothes are important to me , can I say "I TAKE quality clothes important"? Or should I say "I find quality clothes important"? Which is the most appropriate verb in this case, i.e. when I want to express an opinion of mine about sg.?

"I find quality clothes important." is what you should say. It doesn't make any sense with "take".
