How to write native like American English?

I'm working as a 'marketing writer' in a software house. My job is to write contents for the commerical web sites usually for U.S. based clients. Now the problem is, I belong to Pakistan and we are taught British English as you may have noticed my writing sounds very traditional. Since I've to write for U.S clients i need to develop native like language structures...can anyone give me a clue or two so that i can enhance my writing technique? What would you suggest?

Writing is pretty much identical as far as structure goes. The only real differences are spelling and a few different words. I read up to 12 American magazines a month and its rare that I really notice any difference in writing styles. American advertising does sometimes differ in its boldness and simplicity
..........but theres more!

.........All this for only $14.99?....... but wait..........in addition we also give you X etc etc!

The most obvious difference is spelling.
In formal written English, there are very few differences between BrE and AmE.

I agree, there shouldn't be much difference in formal British and American writing.
