What does this mean in Spanish

"Puta la madre, puta la hija y puta la manta que las cobija".

I know the literal meaning but I don't get what this Spanish proverb means. How would you translate it into English or any other languages?

Bitch the mother, bitch the daughter and the blanket that covers them.

More or less it means that the daughter follows the path of the mother because she(the daughter) learns from her mother.

You coulod try something like:

"Like father, like son."

-or-

"The apple doesn't fall far from the tree."
