high coefficient of sexy

I don't get the very last part

"You know you're an Engineer when: you sleep more in class than bed, your professor's second language is English and ... you have a high coefficient of sexy."

It should be 'sexiness'. A coefficient is a constant multiplicative factor used in science and engineering.

But it's a lie because Engineers are retarded morons.

I'm the original poster and an engineer. I totally agree with you.

Other insites?

<<It should be 'sexiness'.>>

Not necessarily.
Technically, yes, 'sexiness' is the noun. Here, 'sexy' is used in a very informal and modern way (eg. I've got to get my "sexy" on...etc) which connotates a certain, soulful/sexual healing(Marvin Gaye) type of vibe...

...as in 'sexitude' :|)

It was joke, the "high coefficient of sexy" is meant to be ironic.

Stats jokes like this are fun though like, "how high is your intercept?" and "she's significant to p>|t| .000"

lol or "check out her t-values.... those are huge!" my friends came up with those first two (intercept and p-value) but i came up w/ the t-value joke just now...

i guess these are only funny if you've study statistics...

Statistics is a idealistic pseudoscience. Engineering is mechanical wankery. The only real science is Elementary Particle Physics.
