Is it correct to translate She is pregnant as "Ella está preñada"? Which one is the best translation:
Ella está preñada Ella está embarrasada Ella está encinta
either one is fine even though I was always told that preñada only referred to animals being pregnant other than humans. I still have heard people say preñada.
<<BTW, what does "Estoy embarazado" mean?>>
It means you're a transvestite. :)
How would you say that in French? I want to play a joke on a guy I slept with when I was visiting my aunt in Lyon.
I wouldn't say encinta, it sounds to Frenchy (encente)
Use embarazada or prenada. don't use hasta el quezo, that means you're to the cheese or something like that; it is a slang term.
As a native Spanish speaker I say that the most common is :
Ella esta embarazada |
