Danish/Portuguese/Arabic

Recently I came across some remarks about languages from people who should know better. Maybe these languages sound like "mush" or "slurred" to people who haven't studied languages, but I think it's a matter of tuning the ear in order to understand them, not the languages themselves.
What do you think?

yes, i agree completely with you. these languages are special with sounding but if you learn and work on these languages they are possible to be learnt. i learned for ex arabic and swedish which is near to danish, trained my ear to understand spoken speach, but to say true i failed to learn arabic (literature arabic) because of its very complecated grammar not 'coz of its sounding. i have never met such a complicated system with conjugation of verbs in european languages like in arabic which depends not only on plural form of pronouns but also on gender!!! so that you conjugate verbs in different ways for women and men! i wonder did anybody succeed to learn literature arabic?
