No.

Español africano is the Spanish spoken in Canary islands, Ceuta, Melilla, Equatorial Guinea, Morocco, Western Sahara and Algeria.

Portugues africano is the Portuguese spoken in Guinea Bissau, Angola, Mozambique, Cabo Verde, and Sao Tome and Principe.

I prefer European Spanish (Spain, Andorra, Gibraltar, etc) and European Portuguese (Portugal) than any other word.

In Algeria is spoken by students in the capital and people from Western Sahara that live there (Sahrawis' refugee camps).

In Equatorial Guinea is the most spoken European language at the moment, much more than French or English.

In Morocco a lot of people speak Spanish as second or third language. For instance, the King of Morocco, Hassan II, speak a very good Spanish.

At this moment, there are 5 Instituto Cervantes and several Spanish schools. If you are Spanish teacher you can choose to teach also in Morocco.

At the same time, there are much more students in these continent, like in Cote d'Ivore, Senegal, Cameroon, Mauritania, Angola, Tunisia, etc, according to several reports.

Sorry, my French mates, but Spanish is not dying in Africa, au contraire, it is more studied that 50 years ago.

Perhaps, you should worry about French Africa, the poorest countries on Earth.
