Gender system in Slavic languages

Hello!

Could someone please give an outline of the gender system in Slavic languages?

From what I've read:

Polish:
1. personal masculine
2. animate masculine
3. inanimate masculine
4. feminine
5. neuter

Czech & Slovak:
1. animate masculine
2. inanimate masculine
3. feminine
4. neuter

Slovenian & Serbo-Croatian:
1. masculine
2. feminine
3. neuter


I'm especially interested in the opposition between personal vs. animate vs. inanimate.
Do they only exist in Polish, Czech, and Slovak?
Does such applies only to masculine nouns (and adjectives)?

I think most of the Slavic languages still have words that will fit into a personal/animate/inanimate distinction, but because of their rarity they are seen or considered more idiomatic than anything else.
