What do you think of her English accent when singing?

I personally think her accent is better than Celine Dion(French Canadian).
If you are a native speaker of English, how would you rate her English accent?

a) excellent (totally native-like)
b) good (nearly native-like)
c) fair (not bad)
d) tolerable (needs to be improved)
e) poor (not understandable)

Wow! She has a beautiful voice. I guess I would rate her somewhere between a) and b). I can't be certain that I was hearing an accent or just artist's license in some of the words. For example, she seems to drop the final g on some words. Also, I thought I detected her saying "plashesh" instead of "places" in one of the songs. As I said, very difficult to tell, she has a very clear and easily understood accent.

hmm...couldn't listen the whole song or I'd have vomited over my notebook....regarding her accent: it's intelligible ...a little strange sometimes but ok....

Singing, not always but usually, has a tendancy to strip a person of their accent. There are a host of singers who are not native English speakers who are perfectly understandable. It would be interesting to discover why this is.

I discovered, after some Internet research, that Lena Park was born in the U. S. and lived here until she was twenty years old. Obviously she is a native speaker of English. So, it seems that what I was hearing as a possible accent was in fact artist's license or perhaps personal idiosyncrasies in pronunciation.
